Meet VT Moms Physical Therapy and Performance

We get it, you’re running around with your kids and want to exercise on top of that. But you can’t move like you want to and you don’t have confidence in what your body can do. What if we told you we could help you?

We are here to treat moms the way they deserve to be treated- with support, compassion, and accountability.

VT Moms Physical Therapy and Performance was created for one reason- to give mothers the 100% attention they deserve in order to lead themselves and their families without any pain or dysfunction that may require them to sit on the sidelines or not participate at their full capacity.

VT Moms Physical Therapy and Performance’s mission is to normalize pregnant and postpartum recovery and fitness while treating and preventing future symptoms in a holistic manner.

Our pledge:

You are treated like family. Always. We're talking small town Vermont family.

Established patients have constant access to Dr. Davida answering questions via email, phone, text, and an exercise app with video and picture capabilities.

We will support you and make sure you know we are part of your “village”.

We will make sure you are fully educated about everything we do and you feel like you’re in control.

Exercises are tailored to your lifestyle and home environment.

All sessions are 1:1 with a 90 minute evaluation and 60 minute follow up.

Treatment sessions are both hands-on and exercise based with a holistic approach

Dr. Davida stands by what she says and does, and will gladly refer to other professionals who will help her patients meet their goals.

We will do our very best to make sure your personal goals for coming to PT are not only met, but exceeded in expectations.

 Meet the Team

Dr. Davida Murray

Physical Therapist and Owner/Founder

Dr. Davida is a passionate mother to her 3 children and wife to her husband, as well as a strong supporter of moms everywhere. She enjoys working out, running, barefoot shoes, hiking, skiing, reading and trying new things when she makes time for herself (which she needs to do more often….).

When going through a very hard postpartum recovery after having her first child in 2016, Dr. Davida realized there is a severe lack of resources, support, and information present for post-partum women- all on on top of having a newborn and thousands of new questions, worries, and concerns for the new baby.

Because of this, Dr. Davida now has a passion for not only educating and healing women experiencing pregnancy and current or lasting post-partum related symptoms, but also getting their bodies and athleticism even better than they were pre-pregnancy.

Meg Percival

Administrative Assistant

Meg lives with her family in Essex, VT and enjoys yoga, biking and getting outside to explore the woods as much as possible! She feels that maintaining her active lifestyle into motherhood has been essential for both her and her family's health and emotional wellness. As a mom who benefited greatly from Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy when she was eight months postpartum, Meg is honored and thrilled to provide support to Dr. Davida and her important work helping Vermont Moms stay active and healthy.

Tamara Sullivan

Virtual Coach/Trainer

Tamara lives in Middlebury, VT with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys skiing, running, climbing, mountain biking, reading and sewing. She is also a trained artist working primarily in watercolor, acrylic and gouache.

Tamara experienced a difficult recovery after the birth of her first child that coincided with losing her mother. She realized how important support and being part of a community is toward overcoming many postpartum health issues, particularly how regaining strength and fitness boosts not only physical health but mental health too.

She’s interested in creating efficient and effective workouts to help busy clients meet their fitness goals. She knows how hard it is to fit training into the day while juggling work and family schedules.

Get in touch.

We would love to hear from you and answer any questions you have!
